Winner Best Tuner
PURE DRX702ES. Available from Hi-Fi Corner. PURE were celebrating their third consecutive year of winning the Best tuner prize. This time for the PURE DRX-702ES. PURE also won a 'Best Buy' for what is probably the fastest selling radio in the UK, the Evoke 1.
Winner Best Speaker
Quad ES11L.
Available from Hi-Fi Corner. This award winner won last year and is reviewed here. Still a great favourite but if your budget can afford it consider their bigger brother the 22L's.
Winner Best Amplifier Cyrus 8
Available from Hi-Fi Corner Truly a great choice here, this upgradable amplifier is something to hear. If you are already a customer of us you'll have previously heard us recommend this product.
Winner Best Cd Player
Arcam 73 - Available from Hifi Corner. Arcam CD players offer a well balanced and detailed sound. The quality of the sound is complemented by the superb build quality. Can be improved in future by adding the appropriate Arcam DAC module, the CD73 is readily upgradeable in the future to CD82 or CD93 performance.

As were preparing this page we were going to announce some 'best buys' which already been discontinued. It appears no manufacturer is willing to say their products are discontinued. Either the discontinued products will be made available, appear in price lists but not be available, or be replaced without announcement until next year! Interesting.
